Partner organisations testimonials

I have been involved with State Enterprise Training for over twelve months. In that time I have been impressed by the professionalism and manner in which all activities are undertaken. The staff knowledge and ability to be responsive of learning needs and flexibility of approach to delivery of information is second to none. I have thoroughly enjoyed all phases of planning and implementation of the programs and would recommend their services to anyone considering vocational training.

We chose State Enterprise Training (SET) as our training provider because of their professional approach and understanding of the complexities of the health sector. It was refreshing to work with an organisation like SET, who was willing to listen to our needs, took the time to get to know the work environment, and was flexible in adapting training specifically to cater to a unique multi-hospital environment and individual needs.

SET management was available at anytime to discuss, negotiate and assist with any queries about the training program and training contracts. A partnership arrangement for the delivery of training was negotiated and fully supported by SET management, which enabled our existing mandatory training to be integrated into the training program.

The result was a training program that was able to give participants the fundamentals of the Theatre Technician role in a way that was easily applied back in the workplace. Overall feedback from participants was extremely positive.

I would strongly recommend anyone seeking training or assessment services to speak to State Enterprise Training.

Thrifty's engagement of State Enterprise Training to conduct training for our front line staff has been an overwhelming success. With each formal training session, our staff grew in confidence and developed a genuine passion to apply their learnt theories in a practical way.

The results have been impressive - with all individuals achieving significant growth in their performance criteria. Of equal importance, our employees have gained a genuine sense of achievement and we are delighted to have been able to facilitate such a meaningful professional development path.

As employers, we were particularly impressed by SET's ability to match training delivery and learning outcomes with the specific needs of our business. This 'tailor-made' approach made it an easy to decision for Thrifty to view SET training delivery as an ongoing cornerstone of our professional development programme.

Opportunities have been available for eligible DHHS employees to undertake funded, nationally recognised qualifications from the Package, developed specifically for hospitals. As per AQTF and training package guidelines, Package qualifications require trainers/assessors to possess industry competence; hence sourcing a suitably qualified provider to deliver the specialised qualifications was initially daunting. To add to the difficulty strict DHHS requirements exist for all training and assessment to be provided on the job. State Enterprise Training was selected to provide the majority of services, which has attracted excellent feedback from new apprentices and supervisors. The provision of services are at optimum level, assisted through regular communication, and monthly meetings, addressing any issues as they arise, and to provide opportunities for continuous quality improvement, ensuring a strong client relationship between the two organisations.
