Workplace BenefitsThe Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) provides a comprehensive, nationally consistent yet flexible framework for all qualification in post-compulsory education and training. The Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is part of the AQF incorporating qualification titles and guidelines. Vocational education and training combines practical work experience with structured training and assessment providing participants with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification. A national qualification is gained when a participant demonstrates their competency (knowledge & skill) against specified criteria in each unit. Once you have successfully completed the required number of units you can achieve your national qualification.
