ON-LINE PROGRAM 2008

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Ramsay Health Care Vic. Program has been developed specifically for the learning and accreditation needs of Ramsay Clinical Education and Preceptor staff. The program will lead to the attainment of certificate IV in Training & assessment (TAA40104).

Web based learning

Program content will be delivered in an online web based environment. This supportive learning environment offers participants a wide variety of tools that can make your course more effective and allow you to take an exciting journey into the contemporary learning mode of web based learning. This will provide an easy and secure way to upload & share materials, hold on-line discussions and chats in your own time, complete quizzes for instant feedback, share practice through wikis, and be informed through audios & video files. The program will allow for direct communication with your facilitator to seek understanding & clarification at any stage.

Program cost:

Full qualification - 14 units
The cost is $1500 for each participant. (The price is GST free)

Bridging cost for those that hold the previous qualification BSZ98- Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training
8 units to be completed
The cost is $860 for each participant. (The price is GST free)

2008 program schedule

The program will conducted in a 20 week semester. The 2008 program will be commence August 4th 2008 and finish on December 19th 2008. The first week will be induction & orientation to ensure all participants are comfortable & ready to commence. It is estimated that a participant with little or no vocational educational & training practice or knowledge will be required to invest 280 hours learning time throughout the duraction of the program.

Enrolment

Enrolments for the 2008 program will commence in June 2008. Enrolment will be managed by Program Coordinator. Successful applicants will be enrolled & setup on-line by the end of July 2008.
